All in all, Blackbird absolutely nailed it on all factors of our testing process. It passed every test with flying colours – and was definitely the best all-rounder for its tech, alongside affordability and ease-of-use.

Upon first impressions, we were amazed at just how easy Blackbird was to operate and control. Whether you’re a drone beginner or an enthusiast, you’ll be flying around in no time! 

It’s not bulky at all like a lot of the old drones, so we were surprised at just how sturdy it still was up in the air in a variety of weather conditions. 

We tested it in wind and rain, and it still worked perfectly without any drifting.

Blackbird’s smart app was a great way to control the drone and it even supported live streaming so you can see your footage in real-time! 

We tested the app on both Android and iOS across cell phones, tablets and other devices and found it seamless to use across them all – and we didn’t experience any lag. 

Blackbird’s clever anti-collision sensors also helped us avoid crashing into any other obstacles!

Another thing we loved about the Blackbird drone was how quickly it worked and how long the battery lasted. With some of the other drones we tested, we found that the battery would only last a matter of minutes and we couldn’t fly it quickly enough to get the footage we wanted. 

But with Blackbird, we managed to reach a top speed of 30mph! 

This combined with extended battery life made for very efficient flying.

But all of this smart functionality would be completely useless if you couldn’t really see anything. 

Thankfully, that’s where Blackbird really excelled, and which is why it got out top marks. In our testing process, the image quality was probably the best out of all the drones we tried. 

The 4K camera really helped us capture crystal clear footage! It can video 360-degrees, which meant we could get some postcard-perfect panorama views.
